Migration Within
Every morning and late afternoon, the roads of Jakarta are busy, filled and congested with cars, motorbikes and buses, polluting the air with fumes and creating traffic jams almost everywhere around the city.

Commuting and being on the road is a daily routine for most of us living in Jakarta, going to the office, to schools, heading back home or just to catch an appointment somewhere in the city.

It is during these times, the so-called peak hours that approximately half of the total nine millions population of Jakarta are spending their time anxiously waiting to arrive to their destinations. A private time to Jakartans, when they are being silent in crowded streets.

It is a daily routine. A never ending story, about migrations within the city.

This is an ongoing project.
